Broker Trade History

Why does CGai need this?

Once you instruct your broker to give CGai your positions and trade history, your broker uses a certain industry-standard digital protocol to give us the information you authorized.

This includes limited transaction history, at most 2 years. But Fidelity, for example, provides only 1 year (to everyone, not just CGai), and Vanguard provides only 90 days. And what about trades you did more than 2 years ago?

In order to give you the best trade ideas, we need to know how old the trades are (how do they impact this year's tax?) and how much you bought at what price (is it at a loss?)

How to get the trade history?

If you only miss a few trades, you can type them straight into the CGai app. Alternatively, you can download the trades from your broker and send us an email.
