CapitalGain.AI is a product of Reef Point Systems Inc., a fintech based in California and incorporated in Delaware.

Reef Point is a startup established in 2024.

We started this company because we are traders like you, who, like you, prefer to invest on our own.

​

Like you, we have trading accounts in several institutions, because this one is good with options, that one does crypto, etc.

​

We are tired of this "Groundhog Day" thing with capital gain tax: Every year, when we see how much we have to pay in taxes we swear to pay attention to these things when we trade. And every year we don't.

You know, you do all this research for 10% alpha and then - Bam! 40% goes bye-bye. That's discouraging, right?

We've had it. Enough!

What we want -- for ourselves -- is a "squirrel" that relentlessly looks at all our investment accounts, not just one, and figures out our net year-to-date realized gain/loss, so that we know where we stand.

And then, wouldn't it be nice if that "squirrel" can look through our unrealized losses and see where we can "stash" some cushion?

And, wait, what if the squirrel can also send us alerts when there's an opportunity? And calculate our current year tax NOW, so we can still fix it?

 

And look through those money-making positions that your broker shows a + for but find that there are tax lots that are losers within? (Yes, CG can do that!)

PS -- We have nothing against taxes. No, seriously. Our brave men and women in uniform need to get paid, and so do our fire fighters, teachers and nurses. We salute all these people and we're happy to fund them. What we are not crazy about is "stupid tax" -- tax that you pay because you were not paying attention.
